Review: Fast & Fruity Nail Polish Remover

I had been looking for a 'pot' style remover for a while, I'd been told that Poundland had them in but I failed in my quest to find them.  I was wandering around Home Bargains yesterday when I found this, for the bargain price of 85p so I had to buy a couple to try!

I was wearing a very dark blue NYC Varnish, coupled with a top coat of glitter so that combination was really going to put it to the test!

The first thing I noticed was the scent, a pleasant peach fragrance which was much nicer than my standard polish remover.  The idea is you poke your finger into the pot which contains sponges and twist your finger until the polish is removed.
It did almost instantly remove the blue polish, the glitter, as suspected was a little harder although it did remove a lot more than I'd expected it to.  I did have to dig out the cotton pads and scrub the glitter to fully remove it but the pot seemed to have made it a much easier job.

My fingers weren't too dry from the remover either, although I always apply a nice coating of hand and nail cream after I've removed polish anyway.  It's also a little easier for me as I tend to remove my polish whilst sat watching TV at night so much less mess.

It remains to be seen how long this product will last.  The photograph shows both pots and I can clearly see the pot on the right of the picture is the one I used because of the blue hue to it, but for now I'm rather pleased with my 85p purchase!
